Jealous Woman Burns Ex-Boyfriend’s Items and Stabs Him Over Another Woman

A woman in Accra has been arrested after attacking her ex-boyfriend in a violent incident driven by jealousy. According to reports, the woman, who could not handle seeing her former partner with another woman, stormed his house, destroyed his belongings, and stabbed him.

The incident happened at Oyibi in Accra. The suspect, identified as Benedicta Quaye, went to her ex-boyfriend’s house after seeing him with another woman, which triggered her anger. Out of rage, Benedicta burnt some of his personal items, including clothes and household items.

When the ex-boyfriend tried to intervene, she stabbed him, causing serious injuries. The man was rushed to the hospital for treatment, while Benedicta was arrested by the police.

The Oyibi Police confirmed the arrest and stated that investigations are ongoing. They urged the public to manage relationship issues maturely and avoid resorting to violence.

The incident has raised concerns about how jealousy and anger can lead to dangerous consequences when not properly controlled.
